1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PhDino (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Description of Service

PhDino provides free, browser-based engineering calculators, diagrams, and educational reference content ("the Wiki"). The Site is provided for educational and informational purposes. See the Disclaimer for important limitations on how calculator outputs may be used.

3. No Professional Advice

Nothing on the Site constitutes professional engineering, legal, financial, or other advice. See the Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

4. Accounts

The Site currently requires no account or login. Calculations you save to the in-app Notebook are stored only in your browser's local storage and are never transmitted to us or any server.

5. User-Submitted Feedback

If you submit feedback, bug reports, or suggestions through the Site's feedback form:

• Submission is voluntary; name and email are optional, only your message is required.
• Feedback is processed by a third-party form service (Formspree) — see the Privacy Policy for what that involves.
• By submitting feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use it to improve the Site, without any obligation to compensate you or keep it confidential.
• Do not submit anything confidential, unlawful, harassing, or that infringes another party's rights. We reserve the right to disregard, and in serious cases report, abusive submissions.

6. Advertising & Third-Party Content

The Site may display advertisements from third-party ad networks (e.g. Google AdSense) to support its operation. We select ad networks with content-quality standards, but we do not control, and are not responsible for, the content of individual third-party ads. See the Privacy Policy for how advertising may involve cookies/tracking.

7. Intellectual Property

The Site's design, calculators, diagrams, and Wiki content are original works and are the property of Andrea Coppola unless otherwise noted. You may use the Site's outputs for your own personal or professional reference; you may not scrape, redistribute, or republish the Site's Wiki content, diagrams, or source code as your own without permission.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: interfere with the Site's normal operation; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure; use the Site to transmit malware or abusive content; scrape or bulk-extract content beyond ordinary personal use.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Andrea Coppola disclaims all liability for damages arising from use of the Site, to the extent set out in the Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Andrea Coppola harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, reflecting where the Site's operator is based. This section is a placeholder pending formal confirmation with qualified legal counsel and may change.
